More about the Capitol Hill Community Association

1531-21 Ave N.W.
Calgary, AB
T2M 1L9

403.289.0859

The community was developed in 1948 and is located in NW Calgary. The association was organized in 1949. Capitol Hill offers close access to Confederation Park Golf Course, Jubilee Auditorium, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), McMahon Stadium & Foothills Athletic Park and the U of C. There is also a shared community garden maintained by local volunteers. Nearby schools include Capitol Hill Elementary (Public), St. Pius Bilingual Elementary School (Separate).

A Community Association membership is a great way to support your community. They are inexpensive and voluntary. A valid membership is usually required to participate in recreational, social and educational programs from soccer to girl guides, karate to yoga, stampede breakfasts to senior programs, movie nights and much more! Several Calgary recreation centres will also provide a discount for community association membership holders.

Volunteering

Volunteers are the heart and soul of our community. There are over 20,000 volunteers in the Calgary community association network, making it the largest volunteer movement in the city! Without volunteers we wouldn’t be able to do the things we do. Volunteers are needed for programs, fund raising casinos, community association tasks, family events, community events, sports and much more. Please contact the association directly if you are interested in volunteering.
